Quick Jeans bag Tutorial
I could not donate one of my 12-year-old's jeans as it was ripped on the knees. Repairing it was not a question as this skinny jeans did no fit on his waist anymore. Humming bird Table Runner
Traci and Sylvia from Woolin Rouge asked if I would review one of their patterns and I chose their Humming Birdie Table Runner. I interviewed both of them about their new company here and here. Isn't it a cool pattern? I am used to seeing and doing wool applique against darker backgrounds (think primitive designs), so the colors appealed to me. My 12-year-old niece Julia has caught the sewing bug! I sent her some Halloween fabrics, matching ric-rac, thread, and buttons a few weeks ago and look what she came up with! From here to a full-blown quilter it is just a hop and a skip, if only I could spend time with her in my studio...
