Here it is! Join us on a fun trip as we hop around today’s list of blogs to find out how these creative ladies used wool on their projects. At different times of my life I enjoyed crochet, knitting, creating things with wool felt. Lately, I relax as I applique with wool and then embroider it…
As I mentioned in an essay published earlier this year (click here to read it), wool comes from sheep, llamas, camels, goats, and other animal coats. Just as varied as its sources are the infinite number of items we can create with it. You can wear it, turn it into blankets, rugs, bags, necklaces, stuffed animals, pincushions…
If you have not had a chance to work with it yet, you will probably want to give it a try after this week!
Our 4 sponsors for this blog hop are:
Edition Woolin Nickel Pack. Nickel Packs are made up of 5
different colors measuring 5″ X5 “. All are hand dyed on a variety of
textures. There are 8 different color groupings to choose from:Spring
Bouquet, Jewels, Primary, Green, Rosey, Pumpkin Patch, Oranges and
Autumn Splendor…
Enjoy the ride, and meet me back here tomorrow for another wooly day…
