I am getting the doll itch again... I made this one a while ago and it was as much fun as dressing up a little girl. Some dolls take two or three days to make, depending on how many hours I have available at the time, but they are worth it. I prefer to stuff them very firm, and like to paint on the shoes and facial features. I found these beauties at Serendipity in Dagsboro, DE: Home of Christmas, by Stof. Rich shades of cream, grey, rusty brown, with golden outlines and dots... I am seriously considering another trip to the store to purchase more fabric! Yesterday, the sun was shy at first, letting the clouds fool us into thinking we'd better change our plans for the day. Can you figure out from this picture? And they were delicious, too! The beach is beautiful, the water very warm, and hanging out with my in-laws is super fun!
