Berry Sweet Bags
How cute are these, huh? I made them for the Holiday Fest and for Christmas gifts. They are shaped like strawberries, decorated with wool flowers... They are called Berry Sweet Bags from Fig Tree & Co. For the strap, I used beautiful medium size ric-racs that my mom brought for me from Brazil (one of them have matching fabric strap). Last week I took my boys to the Festival of Trees held at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy, Utah, a fundraiser organized every year for the last 40 years to benefit the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Laminate Placemats
As I promised, here is the tutorial for the placemats I made using Riley Blake's laminates, which go together with the table runner I showed on my previous post (see it here). They are reversible, each side having a different combination of fabrics! I added a pocket for utensils to both sides and quilted right above the pockets only, to hold the batting in place.
