I began the day today by looking through this book for quilting inspiration: 12-Pack Quilts: Simple Quilts that Start with 12 Fat Quarters, by Barbara Groves and Mary Jacobson. Scrappy quilts have captured my imagination for the past few years, and the 12 fresh designs in this book make me glad I started on this journey. Caught in the Middle, page 16. As I contemplate my next knitting project, I decided to look at this great reference book by the editors of Martingale: The Big Book of Knit Stitches. Oh, my! They have chosen the most beautiful stitches for this collection, and I am having a hard time deciding which one to use. Divided into five major categories, the stitches are well photographed with their construction … [Read more...] about Big Book of Knit Stitches
