Arabian Nights II ©pieced brain This is my second design using the Drunkard's Path block. The first one was red and white (see it here). I chose Blueberry Crumb Cake by Blackbird Designs for Moda, along with off-white for contrast. Life as a Quilt
My cutting table is full of fabric rectangles of many colors. Surprisingly, these shades of green, purple, and yellow in plaid, checkers, herringbone designs go well together. I am somewhat relieved, as scrappy quilts disorient me with their multitude of colors and textures. This quilt will be another example of the “Turning Twenty” pattern. Leftovers from a wall hanging…
I really like four patch blocks on point. They are simple but lovely. So, with the leftovers I had from the wall hanging quilt (see previous post), I made this baby girl quilt or wall hanging. Of course, my oldest son Michael and his wife Daniela are having a boy, but you never know who the future may bring into the family... I just decided to be ahead of the game!!! Panel wall hanging
Here is what I thought would be a quick project. I used Anni Downs panel "My Favorite Things" for Henry Glass. For some unknown reason, I decided to cut out each part of the panel... Of course, I had to figure out a way to sew the irregular-size blocks back together, but I think it turned out very cute. I left some blocks out, only keeping "my" favorite things about life. Twister quilt
The Lil' Twister ruler (find it here) has been sitting on my cutting table for months now. It is now time for it to get its share of the limelight! The inspiration for my quilt came from Connie's Worldly Twister at Freemotion by the River.
