I am back from Brazil and slowly getting into the swing of my work. It was wonderful being with my family for two weeks: there were a lot of get-togethers, I ate amazing food, laughed, and relaxed.
A few of my quilts were published while I was away and here is the first one I would like to share with you: Treetop. It measures 61″ x 73″ and the blocks finished at 12″. This easy pattern showcases festive fabrics from the Poinsettia Song collection by Hoffman Fabrics. I have made a few projects using this fabric line and always return to it when I want my Christmas projects to have a delicate, traditional, elegant look. Here are some of the fabrics I used on my quilt:
The quilts’ simple design is perfect for when you want to show off prints you love. The lattice effect can also be the focal point of the quilt if you use solid fabrics.
The quilting was expertly done by Melissa Kelly from Sew Shabby Quilting, using a Christmas motif.
You can find the pattern for Treetop on page 54 of the Autumn 2018 issue of Quilter’s World magazine. This issue has some great patterns which I am sure you will love.
I know many of us like to make Christmas gifts ahead of time, so I found another pattern at Annie’s Online Catalog which you might like: it is the Christmas Candle Table Runner above. Table runners are fun to make and to give away so if you are looking for another fun Christmas pattern, check it out!
Have a great weekend,

Thank you! I am glad to have it back, and may leave it out for a while, perhaps until Christmas!
