This is my Friday Finish – the Dwell quilt with blocks made by my friends Deb, Lisa, and I. We each designed eight blocks, made three of each design, and shared them. I have no idea what their final quilts will look like but mine is done!
Melissa from Sew Shabby Quilting did a great job with the quilting, and the trees I added gave it a cool neighborhood look. You can read more details about the blocks I designed here.
We used the same fabric line to piece our houses so the whole would not be too crazy, which I think was a great idea, don’t you? It measures 62″ x 82″ and it looks beautiful in my family room. Love it!
I am off to Quilt Market today but when I return next week I will get started on some Christmas projects I have on my list, one of which is this cool runner:
Isn’t it gorgeous? It is called Dear Santa Kitchen Set – a cheerful, whimsical, and fast project to make and keep, or give away for Christmas. I will try to find a striped fabric for the binding as on the photograph because it is super charming. So, yeah, thinking ahead!
By the way, Annie’s Publishing (the publisher of this pattern) is running a promotion this weekend only: 25% off all downloads and this Santa kitchen set is downloadable, too! Just use the keycode 4U2HIDE from October 29-31.
I know my weekend will be busy in Houston, but I hope yours will be restful. Until next week,

I love how your quilt turned out. It reminds me of a Christmas snowy village!
