Rainy day here today but I think you can get an idea of the fabrics on this Christmas table runner I designed. It is simple but festive. The hollies, berries, bows and ribbons were appliqued using Aurifil monofilament and a very small (free motion) zig zag stitch.
I pieced the gift boxes making sure the lid extended beyond the box.
Here is the runner in all its glory, though the colors on this picture are not accurate. If you like this runner, click here to download the free pattern and here for the template.
This table runner joins the other quilts I am displaying at home this season:
1. Snow Buddies table runner (pattern on my Etsy store – Quilterly);
2. Formal Attire, pattern in Quilter’s World Magazine, Autumn 2016 issue;
3. Christmas panel table runner, densely quilted…
I love Christmas colors! Despite the gloomy day outside, the lights are on indoors and I am surrounded by cheerful hues.
Happy Friday!

I love all of your quilts! I am working on a pieced Christmas Table Runner today and then hope to finish a pillow case and start quilting 4 quilts, all partially done. LOL. Thank you for sharing and have a fantastic creative day!
