I am having a difficult time finding binding fabric for this table runner (not good day for pictures)! I have a bunch of gray fabrics, none work. I ran out of the gray I used on the runner as that would have been an easy solution. I went out and got some fabric that I thought would work, got home and did not like the combination. Ai, ai, ai…
The idea for this table runner came from a quilt I made a while ago (see it here), minus the embroidery. The flowers were fused with HeatnBond Lite and machine appliqued with Aurifil 40wt thread. Quick project!
Quilting it was a lot of fun and problem-free as I used Aurifil 40wt thread. Using triangles on the quilting motif was a cool idea and I am pretty happy with the results. If I could only figure out with what fabric to bind it!
It is a cloudy, cold day here in Utah. I am swamped with school stuff and haven’t been able to be in my quilt studio as much as I’d like. Maybe this weekend… I can dream, can’t I?
