I am making a tote for a friend this week. I take clothesline and wrap strips of cloth around it and then coil and sew it into a tote. I made one of these for myself and my friend was drooling over it. My friend recently lost her mother and this will be a tough Christmas for her. I think she will love this surprise tote she is getting.
