Back to School Blog Hop Party! Yes, this is ONE of the ways I am celebrating back to school days. The best part is that I am not alone – lots of other bloggers will be giving away cool gifts! The only thing you need to do to qualify for this blog’s giveaway is to answer this question:
– What is the best thing you did (with or without kids) this summer?
You will have from today, August 25th, until September 3rd to enter by leaving your comment with the answer. On September 4th, I will announce the winner:
Patterns galore, matching ribbon and buttons, plus the right needles to sew your jeans bag should get your creative juices going for your next projects. Use the fabrics you got from my previous giveaways, new purchases, or draw from your old stash. You can recycle your old and favorite jeans by making cool handbags with them, use honey buns to make quick table runners and book covers, or choose between traditional and modern patterns for your next lap quilt! Prize can be shipped internationally!
Join the party! I can’t wait to read your comments!

What a cool assortment of things! My husband and I had a great vacation this year — we rented a house with my parents and two sisters and spent a week just hanging out. It was lovely.
My whole family went to the beach to celebrate my grandparent's wedding anniversary!
I started water aerobics. It was really fun. Thanks
Just the simple, ordinary summer fun like taking a walk, having a water balloon fight, or catching fireflies made some good memories this summer! Thanks for a great giveaway!!!
I've been having some health issues this summer so we didn't do much, but my mother in law did fly across the country for a visit so that was really nice and the kids loved having her around.
The best thing I've done this summer is watch my grandson (almost a year old) discover everything about summer! Thanks for the chance to win.
Thanks for the chance. I really enjoyed getting a lot of sewing done.
Since it's winter here (Australia) and I haven't been on summer holidays, I can only say that the best thing I'm going to do in the next school holiday break, in spring, is visit Uluru and Alice Springs in Central Australia with the family…I'm really looking forward to it! Thanks for the chance
August is really Winter here in Australia but it has been a busy time for me. I went to see "Jersey Boys" and "Cirque du Soleil" I had High Tea with my friends at the very posh Stamford Plaza Hotel. I spent a great day at the Agricultural show with my bestie and yesterday celebrated my son's 23rd birthday with coffee and cake at a lookout overlooking Brisbane city. I have blogged about most of these events on my blog @ Bits 'n Bobs – maybe you would like to visit. Love the prize.
Its winter in the Southern hemisphere, we have been doing the usual, school, sport, work! Great give away!

Visiting the Haute Koenigsbourg in France. It was just lovely!
This summer after my Dad moved in with my youngest sister, my other two sisters & I got together at my Dad's house to clean it out & get it ready for sale. It was a sad & happy occasion. We all live in 4 different states (my Dad was in a 5th state). So it was great to see everyone. Thanks for the giveaway.
The best thing we did this summer included not only our 2 boys but our 2 foster kiddies. Our kids have been camping before but not for a couple of years so this year we packed up the 4 kids, our rottweiler and Ma 'n Pa to head out to the most beautiful place on earth {at least to my hubby & I}.
The kids had an absolute blast! Our foster kids had never been camping…ever. All the kids laughed and kibitzed about in the water and all over, they roasted hotdogs and marshmallows over an open fire. They're already planning for a return engagement next year! It was the best time!
i am retired so everything i do all year long is great thanks
This summer I hung out at home and did gardening and sewing. We don't have children but our four-legged furry best friend had a blast chasing birds in the garden.
This summer my 7-1/2 year old grand daughter spent 40 days with us at the farm. This was only the fifth time I saw her so we had a great time bonding and doing fun things. I asked her if she wanted to learn to sew and she said "no." I had to laugh about that. Thanks for the give away.
A five day boating trip on our local lake system with DH and another couple. The weather was wonderful and it was very peaceful and beautiful.
Okay, nothing like waiting til the last moment, but the other day I bought a new puppy. Her name is Lili, and she is beautiful. She is a doxie and terrier mix. So smart!! Sweet and lovable!
