Hi, everyone! Here are two more blocks for the Modern Spools Sew Along using Peta Peace’s pattern. No applique’ blocks this time but I already have another sewing notion motif lined up. So far, here are the other blocks I made:
Once we add the sashing they will look more like spools. I am loving them so far, particularly the fact that I don’t need to spend too much time working on them: they are fast, and I am doing one per week (posting them every two weeks on this blog).
I am taking the photographs in the sewing room so they look a bit dark. Once the top is completed, and before it is quilted, I will post a photo taken outdoors so we can see the fabrics in all their glory.
