I mentioned in previous posts that our quilt guild had been working all year on a round robin. When I prepared my block, I had no idea what it would look like when the quilt top would be done, after passing by the gifted hands of four other guild members.
What started like this (plus yoyos and buttons I forgot to photograph)…
… turned out like this! Isn’t this gorgeous? I could not stop staring at it during our big ‘reveal’ at the quilt guild meeting, and then at home when I placed the quilt top over my bed.
Stunning choices of borders around my center block, and the last border with its gradation of colors, just wrapped it all together so well!
I hope we do this again. We learned so much in the process…
Have you ever participated in a round robin?
